CAESAR AND CLEOPATRA

The miniature portrays Julius Caesar and Cleopatra during a banquet. The manuscript belonged to King Edward IV of England, who had it made in Bruges, and included a biography of Caesar as well as a short account of the reign of Augustus and a list of Roman emperors.
