Provenienza: Inghilterra (Londra) Omne bonum è una enciclopedia in due volumi compilata dallo scriba della tesoreria reale James le Palmer. Si tratta di un compendio del sapere medievale, che inizia con storie dell’Antico e Nuovo Testamento. Al centro della miniatura il Volto Santo è venerato da angeli e fedeli inginocchiati. La facies Christi corrisponde al tipo ‘en buste’ delle prime Veroniche inglesi del XIII secolo.

It is a compendium of the medieval knowledge, which starts with stories of the Old and New Testament. At the center of the miniature the Holy Face is venerated by angels and devotees kneeled down. The facies Christi corresponds to the type 'en buste' of the first Veroniche inglesi of the XIII century.
